Overview
Overview
A full brand redesign exploring what OwnersBox could have become. Built around a sports network aesthetic with a custom icon, bold condensed type system, and a two-tone wordmark split designed to scale across the product and its sub-brands. The system was complete — identity, lockups, monogram, and OwnersBlog as the first sub-brand application

The Problem
The Problem
The original OwnersBox brand worked for where the company started. But as the product matured and the competition got louder, the gap between what the brand looked like and what it actually was started to show. Fantasy sports was getting more serious. The players were getting more serious. The identity needed to catch up.

The Solution
The Solution
The direction was never a question. Vibrant, proud, bold type. A sports network aesthetic — something that felt less like a startup and more like a platform people were proud to be part of. We weren't chasing anyone. We were building something specific to OwnersBox.
The custom icon came from the wordmark itself. An O that moves — sliced through with a horizontal energy that reads as both motion and ownership. Paired with a condensed italic wordmark split in two: OWNERS anchored, BOX in blue, carrying the accent. That tension in the split was intentional. One word grounds you, one word activates you.

We never had the pleasure of launching this project unfortunately. The company's direction shifted before we got there. But the work was right, and the system was built to go.
